PHS PhD Student Isis Bey Elected As Chair for Mecklenburg County Multicultural Tobacco-Free Coalition and Nominated for the Crowns for Enterprise Reward
PHS PhD student Isis Bey has been selected to join the Mecklenburg County Multicultural Tobacco-Free Coalition as a Chair member.
The Multicultural Tobacco-Free Coalition is convened by the Mecklenburg County Public Health’s Office of Chronic Disease Policy & Prevention and is funded by The Center for Black Health & Equity and will launch on April 19th. The coalition aims to focus on health equity, uniting diverse voices to address the impact of tobacco in our communities.
Isis Bey has also been nominated by the city of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County for the Crowns of Enterprise Award.
