Where I’m From: West Orange, New Jersey

Public Health Interests: My interests are community health and health policy management.

Public Health Experience: Throughout my undergrad I had the opportunity to work with Robert Wood Johnson St. Barnabas located in Hamilton, New Jersey. I was a part of a program called “The Better Health Program.” Which consisted of helping 65+ individuals. They were provided with classes that educated them about bettering their health and even classes like meditation and tai chi!

Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I chose the UNC Charlotte MPH program because it will give me the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge within my concentration. On top of the opportunities I’ll receive, I’ll also be able to experience a new environment as I was an in-state student for my undergraduate studies.
