Alumni Update: Sangamithra Krupakar, MSPH ‘14

Sangamithra Krupakar, MSPH ’14, received the 2015 Academic Practice-Based Research Section Student Award for her presentation entitled: “Association between hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and breastfeeding initiation and duration” at the Fall North Carolina Public Health Association (NCPHA) meeting held in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Krupakar’s presentation was based on her MSPH thesis. Sanga currently works at the North Carolina Division of Public Health as a Hypertension Prevention Specialist.
