AUPHA/Foster G. McGaw Scholarship
In April, AUPHA awarded MHA student, Thomas “Tommy” Roache, the Foster G. McGaw scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to students in Health Administration based on the recommendation of program faculty. Since the inception of this scholarship program in 1975, AUPHA has awarded over 900 scholarships to students most deserving of recognition.
Tommy received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Gannon University in Erie, PA. During his time at Gannon, Tommy was a member of the Scholars of Excellence in Engineering and Computer Science as well as the Accelerator Mentor Program at the Erie Technology Incubator (and was awarded a patent on a medical device). Tommy chose to pursue graduate education in healthcare administration to improve patient satisfaction, increase efficiency, and promote ethics within healthcare.
The MHA program congratulates Tommy Roache on his Foster G. McGaw Scholarship and his hard work and dedication!
