Student Update: Sanjana Prabhu, BSPH ‘16

This summer, Sanjana Prabhu, BSPH ‘16, completed her BSPH internship at Victoria Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. Victoria is a “district” or government hospital in the southern suburb of Wynberg, which serves over 6,000 uninsured patients and approximately 100,000 patients overall. Sanjana says, “Working in this small 180-bed hospital with its narrow hallways and populated patient wards (no individual patient rooms existed) was a unique and unforgettable experience.”
