Ph.D. Student Recognized for Research at APHA Annual Meeting

Erin Vinoski, MPH, CHES, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Public Health Sciences, was recognized by the Integrative, Complementary, and Traditional Health Practices Section for her research and poster presentation at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association in Denver, CO.

Vinoski was one of three students selected to receive a Student Poster Award for her research examining body size and weight-related content and images in popular yoga print media. She collaborated with her research mentors, Dr. Jan Warren-Findlow and Dr. Jennifer Webb, along with three undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students on the project.
