Public Health Interests: Interested in a world where everyone has equal access to receive the healthcare that they need

Public Health Experience: Worked at a community health center in 3 different roles: Patient Services Representative, Patient Navigator and Certified Application Counselor for the ACA. Currently employed with Meck County as an Environmental Health Specialist, Previously, was an Intake Specialist with the Children’s Developmental Services Agency. Worked for various years PRN as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Why did I chose the UNC Charlotte MPH program: Proximity. Affordability. Felt very welcomed by those I had interactions with in the program prior to completing my application.

About Me: I’m a yoga instructor at a hot yoga studio. I speak Spanish fluently. I lived in Spain for 2 years after graduation undergrad.
