Academic Background: B.S in Health Sciences, Minor in Business from Wells College

Where I’m From: Rochester NY

Public Health Interests: Interested in being able to find solutions to community and global health issues. Additionally, very interested in Public health surveillance, and how we as future healthcare professionals can use the interpretation of health-related data to better global public health practice.

Public Health Experience: Assisting in civilian hospitals throughout NY state on COVID-19 deployments to vaccinate and treat patients that were dealing with COVID-19 and also act as a relief valve for civilian health care workers at these facilities.

Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I chose the UNC Charlotte MPH program for a multitude of reasons. Location, class size, the school’s reputation, extracurricular activities, and the ROTC Battalion.
