Undergraduate Degree: Bachelors of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Howard University. Additional Certs: Certified Full Spectrum Doula (CD). Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).t the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW).

Public Health Interest: Maternal and Child Health, Reproductive & Sexual Health, Global Health, Food and Nutrition, Racial Equity, Mental Health, Environmental Health.

Public Health Experience: My public health experience centers on advancing maternal health, reproductive justice, and holistic wellness. I began with an internship at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where I gained foundational exposure to the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention department. Several years later, I became a certified full-spectrum doula and have since supported over 2,000 women and families worldwide through education, movement, wellness care, speeches, and advocacy.

I founded The Wellness You Desire®, a global health education platform that guides ambitious women through menstruation, preconception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My work has been cited in academic research, featured in media, and presented in public health forums. I’ve collaborated with universities and corporations, non-profits, and delivered speaking engagements, consistently bringing high-level expertise and measurable impact.

Before formally entering public health, I spent a decade in global supply chain management across the Automotive, Aerospace, Legal, and FemTech industries. Notably, I served as Head of Purchasing and Logistics at Bodily, a maternal health FemTech startup with products now in Target. This role allowed me to merge public health and supply chain strategy to support postpartum care innovation.

I look forward to deepening my public health knowledge while contributing cross-sector experience to advance health equity and outcomes for women, mothers, and families worldwide.

Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: UNC Charlotte is a Research 1 institution that offers the academic foundation I need to deepen my expertise and develop large-scale initiatives that address health disparities. It is local to the Charlotte area, community driven, and an highly regarded program. For my birthday, I took a campus tour because that’s how committed I am to this next chapter of higher education. When I walked on campus, it felt like abundance of opportunity. UNC Charlotte and the MPH program feels like home, and I’m confident it’s the right place for me to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact in public health.

About Me: Favorite ways to spend the weekend is a blend of relaxing, spending time with loved ones, yoga classes, farmer’s market, eating, cleaning, and/or a lively event (museum, comedy, game, art show or an activity).
