Public Health Interest: I have always wanted to enter a career in which I am able to have a positive impact on my community while also fulfilling my passion for science. Public health encapsulates these goals in a meaningful way that will hopefully allow me to make the world a better place!

Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I love the city of Charlotte, so I was really hoping to live here during my time in graduate school! UNCC’s public health program had a schedule that appealed to me and allowed me to begin in the spring, and everybody that I interacted with during the application process was pleasant and helpful. I also know multiple people who have attended UNCC (both for undergrad and for graduate school) that have had nothing but positive things to say about the school! I knew from the start that UNCC would be a great fit for me.
