Public Health Experience: I interred at Burlington Homes (a low-income apartment complex for those over the age of 55) where I worked directly with the residents to help manage daily activities and plan events.
Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I love the city and was drawn to the community health practice concentration that UNCC offers. I was raised in Charlotte and felt attending UNCC would be a great opportunity to learn and enact change in my own community!
