Undergraduate Degree: B.S in Nutritional Science.
Public Health Interest: I am interested in proactively educating the public on health and sanitation to proactively prevent diseases.
Public Health Experience: I worked at the Fredrick County Health Department and Baltimore County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. During my time at the department, i inspected the cleanliness of hotels and food restaurants while also responding to food borne illness cases. I also have my Field Sanitation Training Certification from the United States Army.
Why I chose the UNC Charlotte MPH Program: I chose UNC Charlotte because it is an in-person program that focuses on applying core principles of evidence-based and public health practice within a variety of professional settings. In addition, i feel that UNC Charlotte MPH program can provide it’s students with more resources and access to partners and employers that better fit our preference’s.
About Me: My hobbies include working out and binge watching movies.
