Public Health Interest: Healthcare accessibility, health disparities, infectious diseases, aging, machine learning.
Public Health Experience: I currently work for the American Red Cross as a Donor Notification Coordinator, where I monitor the receipt of test results for blood donations, prepare notification materials for donors with abnormal results, and report communicable diseases to state health departments.
Why I chose UNC Charlotte MPH Program: As an alumna of UNC Charlotte, I knew that the university’s resources, connections, faculty expertise, and interdisciplinary curriculum of the MPH program would best prepare me for making a positive impact on community health in an aging and urbanizing world.
